Built from a collective of highly experienced professional musicians, the group brings together some of London’s most in-demand singers and instrumentalists to create a powerful, modern live music experience. With over a decade of experience performing at luxury events, corporate functions, and high-end weddings, Formation are known for their polished delivery, slick vocals, and explosive stage energy. Their performances are designed to fully engage guests, often extending onto the dancefloor to create an immersive, interactive party atmosphere. Formation offer exceptional versatility, performing as anything from a 6-piece band through to a full 12-piece live show including multiple vocalists, brass, percussion, and rhythm section. For more compact venues or hybrid experiences, they also offer a DJ Live format combining live singers, saxophone, percussion, and an in-house DJ for seamless, high-energy entertainment throughout the night. Their repertoire spans decades of music, from 70s classics and Motown through to modern pop, R&B, house, garage, and contemporary chart hits. Carefully designed medleys and mashups are a signature feature, keeping momentum high and ensuring a continuous, dance-focused experience for guests. As a collective, Formation have performed alongside and for some of the world’s biggest artists, including Adele, Dua Lipa, Stormzy, Rod Stewart, Craig David, and Ellie Goulding, with many members also touring internationally with major acts.
